We all have our own agendas. The Dean's sole agenda is protecting the image of SJU. It is a fallacy to even consider the notion that Mr. Guimond is "infringing" on the student's rights. That sounds like an excuse to justify banning Mr. Guimond from the campus. What is it about this case that SJU is uncomfortable with? What is causing the university to take a position of "no further communication" with Josh's family? It's strange behavior, period, and is only drawing further suspicion to the motives of the school. Josh's family has only one aim, and that is to find him. And now, it appears, the university has one aim -- and that is to prevent the family from searching the very place from which Josh disappeared. It is cruel, heartless and odd behavior on the part of SJU. |
