Very impressive response on the part of the community and law enforcement in Brooke's case. I'm still troubled by St. John University's "hands off" attitude with regard to Josh's case at this point. Seems the university washed its hands of Josh as soon as they could. They like to say "see, we allowed these searches but Josh is gone and there's nothing we can do about it." That's pretty sad. The university could have offered financial assistance to the family to help with the search. They surely could be doing a whole lot more in the way of publicity -- but they won't, because the school's image comes first. What St. John's fails to realize is that by hoping the public will forget about this case, it has only served to make people further question the school's lack of interest in resolving this case. Strange, disconcerting, disappointing and troubling. Does it seem the Sheriff's dept. seem unwilling to pursue clues that may lead inside the walls of St. John's?... |
