"Josh Guimond has been missing since November 2002, when he walked away from a campus party after telling friends he was going outside to get some fresh air. Stearns County sheriff's deputies have searched buildings and bodies of water at St. John's and have said they believe it's most likely Guimond is in one of the lakes on campus. ... Brian Guimond has been a frequent critic of the sheriff's investigation and St. John's University. He has launched his own investigation into the disappearance of his only son and has been to campus numerous times to search and to question students and staff. ... Some students told school officials they consider Brian Guimond's actions threatening and harassing, prompting the university to seek a court order barring him from visits without an escort."
