I asked this question a long time ago, and now I'm pondering it again...what's in it, so to speak, for the departments responsible for this investigation to not pursue it with every resource available? What factor would prevent the sheriff's dept. from thoroughly examining this case in the context of a criminal investigation? Other than a purported lack of concrete evidence to suggest a criminal element to this case, what other reason could there be for the Sheriff's dept to not ask the FBI for help in finding Josh?
