Aubs, I agree with you about it being strange that a criminal investigation was never begun. If nothing else, one would think the sheriff's dept. would continue to keep up the publicity of this case. When we had a young woman go missing a couple years ago, you heard about it every day -- people were out in the community looking in the cold, rain, heat, it didn't matter. She was found almost eight months later -- alive, thank the Lord. But what impressed me was that the police just never let up, and neither did the public.
