DoubleDash: I don't believe this is connected with Josh's case; the motive profile is different. My information is that Dan O'Connell allegedly got wind that his parish priest was molesting a troubled teenager that had been placed in his care. Then, after he confronted Fr. Ryan, the priest allegedly went and shot Mr. O'Connell (and the intern, who would have been an eye-witness to the murder). Indications are that Josh's abductor is a local individual familiar with the campus and comfortable there at night; he does not arouse suspicion when out and about after midnight. And, in contrast to the O'Connell case where the motive was personal, here we are unfortunately dealing with a sexually sadistic motive.
