DoubleDash: I've checked out your links. I'm inherently skeptical of these alternative methodologies, because none of them has any scientific basis. However, I recognize that cases are sometimes solved intuitively. I don't believe in the existence of "psychic powers," but if that's what someone wants to call their keen intuition and "out-of-the-box" thinking, that's their business. The main risk to watch out for is charlatans whose only goal is to prey on vulnerable people for their own financial gain. Be particularly wary of unscrupulous operators who seem sincere at first and start out working free of charge, but soon hook you by raising your hopes, upon which they start demanding money to continue on the case.
