"To solve cases, you … need a police department that's willing to go that extra distance, even when the case is cold, and you need a prosecutor who's willing to cooperate to get the job done … and you need the media to pay attention to this case" [said the Vidocq founder]. That's a tall order. Which if any of these three requirements can we meet here? According to Vidocq, "The society considers its client to be the truth." Now that's the kicker right there.
