I would add that it's journalistically irresponsible to perpetuate that myth -- as was done in a Minneapolis Star Tribune article and a CNN report "When Drinking Leads to Drowning" in the past year or two. In my conversations with local members of the public, I've encountered more than one person who thought Josh was found in the Mississippi River; they confuse him with Chris Jenkins, who disappeared just 10 days before Josh, or St. Cloud State student Scot Radel, who drowned in February 2006. |
