Lets just consider maybe JOSH decided to go for a walk. Just maybe he became out of sorts. When your in the woods sounds such as traffic from the highway sound like they are coming from the other direction. Ad fear and a person could walk a long distance being out of sorts. Stop to rest, fall down break a leg? ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. I think its still worth the effort.
