"Hmmm, some interesting activity on the message board lately... ... Being an I.T. Type, that certainly opens up several questions in my mind. (I'm not certain they should be answered in this public space, but they should be answered by someone...) ... 1. When was Alex's activity in relationship to when Josh was reported missing? Was it being considered a crime scene at that time? Did the S.O. take the computer at that time? ... 2. Where was the computer physically located when this occurred? Still in Josh's room? If so, why? ... 3. Did / does the I.T. staff at St Johns have any e-mail or other record of network/Internet activity at that time coming from Josh's computer? Did anyone from the S.O. ask? If it were on my network, I would have at least set asside server logs and backups from the timeframe in question!! ... 4. Do you still have the Hard drive and computer available for better forensic experts to take a look at? ... There are places that can take a better look at computer data especially if they know they are looking for activity concerning the dissapearance of a person. No offense intended to the good folks involved with the Best Buy Geek Squad, but these are not people trained in digging out forensic data from a hard drive. Normally, one would trust the Sherriff's office to obtain the proper assistance with this from FBI or other sources, but in this case, it might be worth while looking elseware for support. Just remember to do it in such a way as to find and not damage evidence that may still remain. ... "
