Of course I am not implying that no crime has been committed. I have been a firm believer since day one that Josh's disappearance is the result of foul play. I also agree that it is not likely that a cold case unit related to Stearn's County is involved. Frankly, I don't believe such an organization would exist within such a county. Rather, I am suggesting that there are other cold case units within the state a federal systems which operate independently of local law enforcement. Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, these organizations are not required to make their involvement known to anyone unless they see it as a benefit to the case. This can be unfortunate and nerve-wracking for the families, but investigators sometimes find it beneficial to an investigation to have certain aspects of an investigation kept secret from the public.
