There are several reasons why this rule is important. Not the least of which is the ''innocent until proven guilty'' idea. One other reason is that if you do have proof about an individual, it should be submitted to Joshua’s family and Law Enforcement in such a way as to allow them to act on that information. Let’s say, for sake of argument, that the posting that was submitted did have some valid input, but the person you accused (who also reads this message board) was then able to take action to hide him/her self or important evidence. Suddenly, this well meaning message has just ruined a long investigation by those folks who do have the right to accuse someone (law enforcement). Mr/Mrs Anonymous can hide behind their anonymous signature, the person you may have falsely accused can not.
