This conversation is all very sad. I believe it's fueled in part by the cover-ups laid bare in the priests' sex scandal that is currently devastating many diocese in this country. Hundreds of millions of dollars and untold pain because of an arrogant coverup. Are we heading to another scandal beyond juvenile victims? Let's hope not! But the church leaders are now not above suspicion. Has anything been learned by the juvenile victims scandal? A little openness would go a long way on the St. John's/ Joshua issue. Let's all pray St. John's will be cleared. But, those at the reins sure have a funny way of getting to that end. Isn't it time for a Bishop or an Abbot to come to the podium and level with all those who are hurting and speculating? If they are under a gag order, then at least say that!
