Joshua Guimond, being of minor age, was entrusted into to the care of St. John's University as one of its students. He disappeared from the campus of -- St. John's University. It is, therefore, incumbent upon St. John's University to offer whatever help it can in order to resolve the disappearance of one of its own students from its very own campus. How much help is or is not enough in the case of a student who suddenly disappears from a campus in the middle of the night, never to be seen again? A couple months? A couple thousand dollars? How much is Joshua's life worth? How much should a well funded university like St. John's contribute? How open should the university be with the community about the facts of this case, and how helpful should the university be to the Guimond family? What if this was your brother, your best friend -- and perhaps someday in later years -- your son? Is it possible, I wonder, for you to even imagine it
